Now the proposal is 60 storeys, two 51 storey towers on top of a 9 storey podium. They also added an extra elevator to each tower, so 4 elevators per building. There are some other changes as well. https://imo.ajax.ca/190westney

Likely the Town of Ajax would have that information, I don’t think it’s available online currently. You would have to contact planning staff.

Agree, I just hope we will see some different architectural designs as proposals keep coming in. These two have slightly similar facade patterns.

Thanks for sharing but I was referring to the Harwood Place Mall, which is now the Harwood Plaza in Downtown Ajax. I just realized I didn’t specify that in the original question.

Out of curiosity, was this a one level mall or two level mall. I also heard there was a movie theatre, do you have an old mall map of the Harwood Place Mall or photos. Would love to see it.

It’s confirmed, site alteration work is almost complete. Vupoint towers has begun. This will be the first tower above 40 storeys built in Durham. It’s crazy how times have changed. I remember when 25-storeys was considered high lol.
