I seen it a few days ago, but forgot to take a photo, thanks.

Yeah, I await how that section, and the tower above is handled materially. I expect a reverse of Aura, wherin instead of bad material choices below, and a well clad curtainwall structure at the top, this will be the reverse. Of course, the heritage buildings being facadomized helps the street...

Especially now that the "new" subway cars are over 15 years old, so it'd make more sense to consider replacing them with new ones *in 10 to 20 years* than keep renovating these ones. Well, unless a rehaul of these cars needed to be done, but that would take much time and labour. I don't see...

I do too, but there's so much that could've been done to better design this and integrate it within the space adjacent to the church.

From 4 days ago; I'm not sure if I can express any more disappointment than I have already in how poorly executed this project is. Heck, I compared the St. Patrick Parish, built between the 1880's and 1908 by Arthur W. Holmes, to this in the first two images (the former being built of Credit...

The amount of times that signs been changed is a succinct way to describe this whole transit line, from start to...whatever its finished state becomes/ is declared as.

Largest park in the city, thats cute. If Tridel can slap 30+ floor buildings beside Sunnybrook, then theres no need to fabricate some silly arguments against denskty beside other parks. What a goldmine of good NIMBY tactics.

Sheesh. I guess it's close enough to Forest Hill that theyre trying to market this as a central, well connected site, but it's not an area I'd consider super desirable.

Yes, yes it will. Thats partly why I find planters in general in this area to be a difficult matter to contend with.

These are getting almost uncomfortably close to me...but this is a good height for the neighbourhood. There's a bit more of a slope here, but I'm glad retail is planned, and I'm just glad to see these remaing SFH sites intensified along here.

So, we're going to have these kinds of bollards in addition to bollards that act as ash trays? Or was previously shown bollard not complete?

I mean, a bunker is a bunker no matter how much lipstick (glazing) you put on it. This will be as cold and univiting at pedestrian level at the Four seasons, which reminds me of more of a castle at the podium level thsn anything else in the area.

Or just build a CIBC Square 3 over the tracks, thats one metre taller and one story higher :p

I've been lagging on updates, I took these 10 days ago. I don't think occupancy has even started yet...the sidewalk remains a mess, but much better than before.

Plus, shipping everything needed to operate a restaurant in its day to day operations would be added traffic to however many elevators go to the top. While I can see an establishment being viable and likely to do okay business, I still seriously question the motivations behind a rooftop...
