@Paclo / @interchange42 - the thread title really should just say Kirkor. Moriyama's involvement here is little more than embarrassing tokenism.

Kirkor has been listed as the primary architect.

While the settlement offer has been approved by the city, this still must be ratified at the OLT (scheduled for May 9). As stated in the City's report, the OLT does not have jurisdiction to determine heritage value without having an appeal of the designation (which the applicant withdrew last month) or heritage permit (still deemed incomplete) before it.

The neighborhood raise some very valid concerns; a key one being that there's literally only 2 ways to get in and out of the neighborhood and there's literally virtually 0 amenities in the area.

If there happens to be an emergency in the area, i'd love to see how emergency services would evacuate thousands of people out in a timely manner because I guarantee it would be virtually impossible to do in at a fast pace. Not even talking about if there's thousands of additional residents added to the area.

If you thought Humber Bay and Liberty Village were badly planned, the planned development in this area will easily take the cake as being the worst densely planned area ever conceived in Canada.
