On my bus ride into the office this morning, I noticed that a new business is opening up in the former Good Earth space in the MacLaren. However, I passed by too quickly to be able to read the signage other than "COMING SOON". Anyone get a glimpse of what this may become? In any event, it's nice to see this building recover from its malaise.

Hathaway's Diner?

Any restaurant going into the old Brown’s space should take the old good earth space as well as it would give them access to a patio. This is something Browns never had and I think they suffered for it.

All is Bright was bonkers last night. Incredibly packed, as usual. I think the organizers might want to give some consideration to expanding the "site" to more than just 107 Ave to 109 Ave, imo. I did appreciate, though, some of the efforts of other businesses outside that area to join the fun. Vine Arts had a large choir performing right outside their front door!

Agreed!! Been so busy lately. Train will help a lot one day. Jasper to 110ave could be possible one day.

We badly need more midrises on 124th from Stony up to 111ave. Hopefully the LRT gets some going at the main intersection soon. Business growth on 124 will be stunted if we can’t get some more residents living along the stretch.

LRT will help access. A hotel would be amazing near SPR (@aldritt). But I think we need more foot traffic still.
