Not sure what's contemplated here, but Bousfields has been retained to lobby the City on this one.

Large site (over 1ha/2.5 acres).

Decision(s) or issue(s) to be lobbied

Official Plan amendment for proposed redevelopment located at 126 Union Street

Current use, car storage as best as I can discern.

Adjacent uses industrial/commercial. Though there are homes nearby.

Well, clearly, it's gonna be a multistory car storage lot with garage consulting provided by Metrolinx. ;)
Nah Metrolinx doesnt like parking garages in Toronto, they reserve those consulting services for the 905. Besides there's more space in those regions to build their parking cathedrals, this lot wouldnt be big enough.

Taken yesterday:

The beware of dog signs in this area are no joke. While biking along the street, a very large German Shepherd at a nearby property ran out to the fence to loudly bark at me. His fast wagging tail (look! I'm doing my job!) undermined the effect, but I still did not feel like getting any closer to the fence here to take a closer shot into the site.

Anyone have the AIC link for this one? I can't seem to generate it.
