Mid-block 2 storey addition onto an existing 2 storey building on Dundas W, just east of Dufferin:

The subtle slanted orientation of the floorplate is also pretty neat. Ideally, it would have been even better to see the entire base structure be intensified. But understandably it's separate ownerships, and the other units are fully tenanted anyways. Wouldn't mind seeing more of these along streets like Dundas and College. As they bring in additional density without being too disruptive to the existing streetscape.

If the entire four-storefront structure was redeveloped at once we'd probably end up with a less fine-grained streetscape — possibly just 1, maybe 2, mayyyyybe 3 street-facing units, so IMO it's way better for these things to happen this way. Keeps the city dynamic, walkable and vibrant.
