It doesn't even look like a luxury development. I saw someone driving one of those now crazy cool c.1984 Chysler Lebaron convertibles as I was shooting this development and thought "yep, this project is like how Lee Iacocca marketed Chrysler's as "luxury automobiles" in the early '80s." :p

Thanks for the great photo update! Interesting to see how many of the streets around the core are actually developing boulevard characteristics on some stretches.

All in all, the good outweighs the bad with this project. The project is sophisticated enough to follow the curves in the road. It has a nice colour to it and there are some novel high-end details like the ornamental grills on the main entrance doors and split-faced stone accents along the sidewalk. The scale is metropolitan without overwhelming the area. In terms of the bad, the penthouse is clumsy in terms of cladding. The Postmodern architecture is dated. When you look at the big picture, there isn't much that's memorable about the architecture. The buildings could use more character--stronger architectural features to distinguish them from others.
