This building is a pretty big deal for Winnipeg, no?

It is a big project for Winnipeg, indeed.
A recent story from Metro says that developers will make an announcement within the next few months as to which grocery store will occupy part of the tower's ground floor. It will "exceed 10,000 sq feet". The article also mentions that construction is expected to start in 2017 and be complete by 2019.

Seems somewhat embattled unfortunately. I really want to see this one go through. It's about time Winnipeg saw some new developments.

Most likely not, MichaelC. The developer has had a bunch of problems. Early buyers have sued to get their deposits paid back

That's a shame. I would have really liked to see something like this is Winnipeg sooner than later .

But, you know what, there will be many more great proposals like this coming in the future, so don't lose hope!
