This very large site would seem to be in play, according to the Lobbyist Registry.

Details for Subject Matter Registration: SM32379

Decision(s) or issue(s) to be lobbied

Development of 2450, 2470, 2480 & 2500 Lawrence Ave E., Toronto, ON

Client/owner: Amdev Asset Management Inc.

This is Lawrence, just west of Midland, north side, tucked into the shadow of the bridge over the LRT/GO Stouffville tracks.

Not clear what the owners have in mind, given the loss of mass transit at this location, and its immediate context, I'm not sure it would be my first choice for residential (but that may not be the plan)

On the other hand, if you create greenspace along and naturalize the creek..........I dunno.............maybe.

Metrolinx built a second track and added a fence on the west side of this property. The tractor trailers literally jack-knife themselves to use the loading docks and have smashed the fence pretty good.

If the development on the south side ever comes to fruition than his area will need to keep the SRT BRT conversion long term.

Was curious, had a look at the floodplain implications on this one.

The site itself would be marginally impacted; but the area to the north and east has a notable flood risk that I'm sure there would a desire to mitigate in any redevelopment scenario.

Blue is the regulatory floodplain.
