Woah. Is this Seaton development #1, or am I just not keeping up?

This isn't technically in Seaton in the traditional sense - the previous provincial lands are west of Brock Road, this is on Brock Road. All the developments in the area have been calling themselves Seaton though. I like to call the area "fake Seaton"

Seaton is under construction though. The first houses along Taunton Rd are probably occupying as we speak, and the new Whites Rd interchange on the 407 is probably going to open quite soon.

I tried to illustrate it with a beautiful microsoft paint masterpiece:

Hmm, thanks for that illustration.

Looking at that map, Seaton sort of makes sense as a new subdivision. It looks relatively flat, and closer to Pickering's built area than I thought.

Hopefully the GO Midtown corridor can be activated one day.

A revised submission of this proposal sees heights reduced to a maximum of 4-storeys. 14 blocks of condo-townhouse, architect is now Guthrie Muscovitch.

More info can be found on Pickering's page.

Correction: I believe this is Park District Towns

NuTowns is the development immediately to the south which was completed in 2021-22

If that is true, than I think we have two pages for this development. The other one has its map pin further north at the intersection of Brock and Taunton.
