As much as I love trashing Mississauga, developments like this and Lakeview give me some hope for its future. MCC could take a cue from how Port Credit is evolving.

I get what you’re saying but port credit has some historic bones and a lake to work with, where as MCC is reverse engineering a mall parking lot into a “downtown”. As long as the MCC streets to continue to be as pedestrian friendly with stores as confederation is then MCC will be fine. But I’m happy for any Mississauga project so I’m happy about what’s happening here.

Mercatto Centrale is going to be a massive restaurant. I wish them luck. Opening is planned for early 2026.
