Can's say I'm really that surprised...last week when I was in Suncor during the snow squall, I could see the larger planes flexing and rippling on the lower levels at the corners, pretty freaky. But I guess that energy has to go somewhere! Hopefully, this doesn't keep recurring!

does Brookfield develop residential properties? was wondering if the second tower can go ahead as Condos/ Apartments.

Not sure it would be worth demolishing a parkade to build a rental building. Would love to see something mixed use go in there though!

I bet if more glass breaks in the future, they will be forced to replace those corner panels and a very great expense.

The crown lighting has been doing the rotating thing constantly for about the last week or so. Wonder why the switch up from the solid lighting with it rotating at the top of the hour?

Vacancy rates are still very high in Calgary, I would not expect any large office towers moving ahead any time soon.

Only way the east tower comes back is if it's mixed use. I kinda hope they finish the podium level and leave it

If they turned the second tower mixed/residental only I think this would be a great location for it. Might spur some more proposals popping up in the area. Unfortunately I don’t see it happening.

A JW Marriott, Shangri-La, or Ritz Carlton with high end luxury residences on top would work great in this location. Similar to the towers of those brands in Toronto or Vancouver. We definitely have the demand to support a 5-Star hotel, but still don’t have one.

I'd hope one of those hotels goes in by the new arena / BMO centre.

I expect that’s what we’ll see. I’m just being hopeful. Been sorta hoping the old Marriott Club Sport proposal would be changed to be at the arena though
