I meant the ones north of it not south of where the stampede grounds are. Like there are massive swaths of parking near EV.

Not sure the residents in EV want Cowboys tent in the middle of their neighborhood. Knowing people who live there, they already have the drop-in centre as a disincentive.

They had it where the Enoch house used to be, were there too many complaints with that location? When BMO is don can they just go back in the old spot until Stampede Trail redevelopment starts up? The space is a bit smaller since BMO is bigger than the Corral.

As Stampede Park gets developed they'll start to lose options, might end up back where the Enoch house was.
Events Centre will take that parking lot, Stampede Trail has an approved DP (plus the hotel), there's the NW lot, but I think they'd like a hotel there too. Maybe where the Saddledome is now?

I just don't see how the province spending money on this project, is going to enable the UCP to win them many more votes. She’s definitely trying to get that Calgary vote. I doubt that name dropping the arena is going to do much.
