Scoring has been tough. That top line of Gaudreau, Lindholm and Tkachuk was dynamite at scoring on their chances. also Mangiapane who had an 18% shooting success rate is only 9% this year.

This year, the plan seems to be - shoot from just inside the blue line the minute you get the puck.

Boston had no business winning that game, but Ullmark was in his usual brick wall state and not enough finish from the flames. If those first two goals were saved or at least Zadorov didn't throw that boneheaded check they could've won in regulation

The Flames played well against the league's top team, and deserved better. Ullmark was very good, but also the Flames still have the habit of taking a lot of shots from low percentage areas. They at least got the loser point. The next game against the Leafs should be interesting.

Last night they had a lot more high danger shots than most recent games. Not ready to blow this team up yet. Would like to see another year. But goaltending was a combined .800 save % last night. Markstrom looked good but he was still only .866.

Calgary looked good last night, and they should’ve easily won that game. That’s been the story for so many games, outplay the opponents, but lose.
If the fFames had even won even four or five of those overtime games they’ve lost, they’d be right in the middle of it all.

Not looking good. At least we just traded away that underproducing Ritchie; not sure what kind of a forward we got back, but whoever it is, they've got to have a better pedigree.

I'm confident Calgary is done as far as playoffs go, and frankly the way they've played this year, they wouldn't go far anyway. Start polishing those golf clubs!
