Spandrel doesn't bother me as much as it should with this one. Maybe it just works better in this context than DT. I wonder if the balcony glass will help or make it stand out more.

My only issue with the spandrel is the color. If they had gone with the more gray looking spandrel as show in the renderings it'd be fine.
Completely agree. I'm not sure if green is cheaper but very odd decision. I remember condos built in the early 2000s all had this green tint, so wondering if it's an older/cheaper technology.

Who can forget the sea of seafoam that was happening back then lol.

Disappointed with the "wood" cladding on the balconies, too brown and homogenous compared to what was proposed. Looked more like cedar or something on the renders, and there was a nice variation in tones.

Agree, the colour tone isn't good. Hopefully its orientation to full sun fades it a bit.

Sheldon Chumir and 11th Ave Place, mainly because I can see both of them from my office. Xenex and Solaire too, but not as prevalent
Sheldon Chumir v2 lol.... I was going to say I actually like the balconies only because the in-your-face appearance makes you realize this is a residential building and not a new hospital.
