Not a big update, but I was passing by. The east wall is almost complete.

Good lord. Did they value engineer out the shades of grey?

If this near-random distribution of windows ends up entirely monotonic, it might be a contender for ugliest building in Calgary.

I quite like the north face though, we'll see if it'll all pull together in the end.

Looking at the original rendering, I think the building as a whole will be the gray material going up ion the east side, and in the balcony areas, with the mixed colours going on the extruding portions of the north side.

I couldn’t be certain but I thought I saw 5 workers on the west wall. I know - a big shocker.

Looks-wise this hasn’t turned out well. Thankfully it’s in a location where nobody cares, and after some adjacent development it’ll simply blend in.
