Some initial materials for this development are going to CPC next week for preliminary feedback. For those not familiar, this is a project located at 1204 - 1216 11th Ave SE (Gopher Park) for a mixed use building, incorporating a new fire hall to replace the shuttered fire hall 1 in the old historic building downtown. RNDSQR won the RFP to partner with The City on this development, using this lot.

Anyway, from the CPC documents (which keep in mind are all very preliminary at this stage): Report, Location Maps, Applicant Submission, UDRP Comments

It's kinda crazy how many tall buildings are in the pipeline for Inglewood (not even including the brewery redevelopment). If/when these are built it will pretty dramatically change the skyline east of downtown.

I have to say that I really appreciate that the City is incorporating these fire stations into mixed use developments.

Looks good to me, reasonable height and massing. I agree with Adamyyc, I like these fire station / mixed use developments.

I am sure that the Landstar development on that map is off the table as they are in the process of retrofitting the old trail building in to multiple retail bays.I should have taken a photo as I was down there today.

Nothing lately. Somebody had mentioned in another thread somewhere that they heard it was postponed, or shelved.

I believe it was in the flyover block thread... RNDSQR got rid of that one and seem to have slowed their roll in general.

RNDSQR has dialed down on a lot of their plans. IMO, they took on too much at once and now they are re-adjusting.
