Similar to The Palisades of Quarry Park, Remington has another chunk of land in Quarry Park that is being switched from office campus to high density residential, projected to be over 1200 units. The Outline Plan goes to CPC next week, so I am starting a thread for it, as I imagine we will see development permits for this area soon after Council approval of the land use. The CPC documents can be found here:

Good to see even more potential high density residential happening in QP. One of our best TODs is at the LRT station that hasn't even been built yet!
It’s disappointing but true. Once the Green line and QP is built it will most likely be the only real TOD. 😕

Great TOD potential with no train as of yet. Here's hoping Danielle Smith doesn't arbitrarily kill the greenline in June. Saw a government of Alberta ad touting the lrt extension to the airport and am suspicious that they are trying to prioritize that pet project over this.

I think the GL is too far along to kill it at this stage. I think $1 billion has already been spent, and many contracts signed. I am supportive of getting LRT to the airport built, and built soon, but I'm sure we all agree that we should not be sacrificing the GL to do it.

Why is a stub between the airport and green line not an option? A vanity airport line to downtown replacing the green line would be terrible.
Greenline doesn't go near the airport. It would be an extension of the existing blue line in the NE. Maybe I'm just being overly anxious, I just don't trust Smith and her pool of rich supporters who continue to mount opposition to the greenline. I believe she once said we should build the line to the airport first.

I think the future green line 96 Ave station is as close to the airport as the future 88 Ave station on the blue line.

Not to take this thread too much further off topic but the City of Calgary has a planned project to use an automated people mover (think Vancouver SkyTrain style) to connect the Blue Line's 88th Ave Station with the Airport Terminal and the Green Line's 96th Ave Station. Step 1 is extending the blue line and then that allows phase 1 of the airport link project to begin. Here's the full set of plans starting in the west at 96th Ave Green Line and working east towards 88th Ave Blue Line
