The DP plans for #10 on the map have now been posted:

A mix of two 4-storey multi-family buildings and townhomes. Slokker Homes again, and Casola Koppe Architects. Project is called Elkwood in Aspen Springs.

More elevations, including for the townhomes, in the DP package.

Ponds are necessary to passively treat storm water and reduce the costs of providing effective drainage. Other Canadian cities benefit from less "peaky" precipitation patterns and acceptance of CSO's. Calgary is fortunate enough to have the space to build this infrasture. That being said, I do question the specific placement of the ponds.

The Blue Line likley should turn north up 85th, but the RoW is not there. Maybe a terminus near Stoney is the best alternative. Regardless, the demographics of that area will never favor transit use

That Cobalt project from Slokker is pretty ambitious by their standards. I don't know if they have ever done high rises in Calgary before. The one they were supposed to partner on in East Village was really Fram Developments from Ontario.
They did complete "First" and "Verve", but you're saying the high-rise expertise was from Fram? If so, I hope they can hire some good personnel with high rise experience.

Slokker did not partner with Fram on the East Village project. Fram has since exited Calgary. They sold or are selling their remaining property in East Village

Some construction photos from today.

Ambrose Springbank Hill by Partners (#8 on the map) has been stripped and graded, so I anticipate construction will be starting soon.

The Willows, #5 on the map is progressing. The elevator shaft for one of the buildings is built already:

Most of the townhomes at Wildflower, #6, appear to be framed and some have cladding.

The site for Springhill Estates by Spray Group (#4) is leveled with equipment on it, so construction is likely soon. BP is submitted and pending plans review according to the My Property map on Calgary.ca

85th & Park by Cove Properties is starting to see some exterior cladding (#2 on the map)

And the Aspen & Spring Condos (3b) are now above grade:

Having lived in that area for many years I'm sad to see the picturesque landscape replaced by this development. It was inevitable, but still a sad substitute.

An update on these projects, the most significant news is that Spring Hill Estates (#4 on the map) and the Ambrose townhome project (#8) are now under construction. Here is the updated area project map:

And Truman's Willows project (#5) is coming along. This shot also gives a bit of an idea what moutain views the area has to offer:

The Cobalt Mixed Use project has amended plans up on Dmap:

The heights look to be reduced on some of the towers, with all three residential towers being now 11 stories, as opposed to 11, 12 and 15 from before. But the commercial building is now 6, as opposed to 5 in the previous version. Also, the brown/orange colour appears to be gone with this new version:

I am have a hard time visualized how all these fairly large, fairly dense developments along the south side of 17 Avenue SW near 85 Street are fitting together. This one is a bit further south, but the commercial building is tucked farthest from both 17th or 85th. Is there an approved roadway map for this area or are these all private streets and development-specific accesses?

Without having an overarching single developer with an outline plan, it is admittedly a bit hard to make sense of it all. In the drawing package for Cobalt's amended plans, there is this handy graphic that helps:

And with the naming convention/colour coding I use on the front page map, it looks like this:
