If that is the pinnacle of modular construction, than count me in as someone who does not want to ever see it again. I remember some people saying that this affordable building was kind of a test run to see how modular construction fares in the future. In my opinion, this does not cut the mustard. The Alt hotel in EV is a much better protocol to follow for modular construction. This one looks like it won't last ten years before it falls apart and crumbles to the floor.

Exterior materials and design make or break a project. Brick is too expensive to do over this type of project comparatively to other cladding systems in Calgary - but if high-quality exteriors were the goal and anyone paid attention to the urban design and architecture with an eye on cost-effective design for this one, it could look good.
