I really like these towers. Are they mixed use or something? I just think it's a bit odd that the top floors, which would typically have the more expensive units, don't appear to have balconies but the lower floors do. Only thing I could think of was that maybe the top floors are commercial space instead.

The floor heights are residential. Larger units with the same number of units per floor can be provided without the balconies.

I'm not sold on the design. The attention to detail is off the chart.

No idea if the quality is there up close as well, but from far away this looks fantastic. This project wouldn't look out of place amongst all the new tech-forward buildings at the UofC.

It looks like the trim around the balconies on the south tower are white instead of red.

Fine with me. It's a fairly detailed building already, and white keeps things on the elegant side. As much as I like red, I'm not a fan of it in an architectural context...it never ages very well.

This is only phase one of The Dells. I can't remember how many more towers Remington has planned. I think it's 6 more.
