To me the orange part looks really "bright" compared to the rest of the building, and somewhat makes the dark upper part look heavier than it should. At leat on the picture.

I like the added density that this project brings, but 11th ave sure is dark on that block. Conversely those alcove balcony areas on the south south will be screaming hot in the summer. Residents can roast chickens on their balconies...literally lol.
