Site prep started to get underway back in early 2015 and then was halted, most likely due to the changing economic climate.

Any word on what's happening at this one?
As a matter of fact, yes. This one is still in action. There has been some legal stuff going on in the background, but they have applied for a BP and are looking to start sometime in the next 6 months.

Any updates on this one? Getting really tired at looking at the disaster they created when they removed sidewalks, streetlight and left the giant gravel lot.

I haven't heard anything of late. I had heard that they submitted for a BP, which usually is a good sign, but these things can take a while.

I really hope this one happens. 1 st and 13 ave SW is arguable that nicest intersection in the whole city, but at the moment it's totally isolated. And that heritage building looks like it's about to fall over at any moment. I can't wait to see it restored.

That would be pretty awesome, another hundred meter tower for the Beltline, plus a new cafe on a park! Not bad :D

I haven't heard anything. Where did you here that from? I wouldn't be 100% surprised though, as the design would have to be changed if they didn't build. It was approved, and even had a BP iirc. The BP would be tied to the old building codes.
