I agree. On the other hand, it's an improvement over the current one level building surrounded by parking lots.

I was thinking this! My wife and I lived two blocks away from the fire station in Edmonton downtown and even that was terrible sometimes... Can't imagine living directly on top of one!

That's correct.

The tender is out for this now. 48 residential suites plus fire station. Expected completion Q4/2023. There is a new rendering....fire station is next to the building rather than right underneath.

There’s also a fire station above a building on 1st street SE, near 7th ave.
