It's pretty incredible to me how the new construction just about disappears even though it is not at all insignificant.

So, did they sealed off some windows on the side of the Mather Tower? If so, I just wonder how they reorganized the interior spaces and coped with the loss of natural light. Also, how does it work in this kind of situation where the adjacent property is redeveloped, causing one's building to be altered? Who pays for these alterations?
