Thanks Toronto-West.. and Mongo.

I don't think we've previously heard about the tw 4A Spadina towers, have we? I assume they'll be twins given they both seem to have the same specs unless they mean 47 storeys and 16 stores total as apposed to two 47 and two 16.

101 King East also sounds interesting and would help continue the revitalization of the east side, though I suppose King itself seems to be doing ok. It's surprising they aren't going for something a little taller but 39 is still a decent height.

Approved building heights within the Railway Lands West Secondary Plan Area include:

Block / Height in Metres / Height in Storeys

24 (4A Spadina Avenue) / 131 / 47
25 (2A Spadina Avenue) / 136 / 49
25 (2A Spadina Avenue) / 114 / 42
33 / 92 and 98 / 30 and 32
37 / 83 / 27

I think that 'Building L' and 'Building M' are the two buildings which together comprise the 4A Spadina project.

Wait.... what the hell is 4a Spadina?

Is this the previously rumoured (but presumed abandoned) project at the SW corner of Spadina and Front? Essentially, a tower stuck right in the railway corridor?

If so, the Globe lands thread becomes even more interesting.

Yahoo maps shows that 4 Spadina is at Front and Spadina, but after looking over that document from 2006, the 4a buildings may just be Montage and Neo, which I believe are 47 and 16 floors.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

Apparently the City of Toronto site mapping program gives the address of Neo as "4 Spadina Ave".

I really don't know what to think. But the fact that this is apparently a new proposal (and that the address is 4A Spadina instead of 4 Spadina) suggests that it might be a new proposal located near Montage/Neo -- is there room nearby for a project of this size?

Toronto must be the world leader in 'ground floor retail'.

The list includes this for Ward 28:

ALTERNATIVE - RKWAN Mixed use with 1771 residential condominium units
This application is for an additional 9045 square meters.

What the hell (or where the hell) is this? Regent Park?

It's Montage/Neo

The application is for a condominium (process of getting it registered) not a new proposal (re-zoning)
