I am in a bit of a bind - there is an item that I consider a "white whale" of mine that is currently available on eBay - but the seller in the US refuses to ship to Canada. Any suggestions?

I have had things shipped to US friends who re-ship them. There are also companies in border cities who will take packages (for a fee) and you can go to collect them. I have never used them but there is https://www.islandshipcenter.com/canadian-visitor-services/I am in a bit of a bind - there is an item that I consider a "white whale" of mine that is currently available on eBay - but the seller in the US refuses to ship to Canada.
