I still wish we could go a little higher than the 150 meters or LESS that we always seem to build !Don’t want our downtown to look like Manchester’s now do we? That would be awful

Kinda embarrassing to have to park in a slushy gravel lot whenever I’m taking out-of-towners to the strip club
Don’t listen to him, God. I can’t afford a homeGod. It's me. Steve.
Can you make my property values go up? I need the equity to buy a BOAT.

I'm not terribly disappointed by the shift to mid-rise per se, but I think everyone is bracing themselves for a potential downgrade in design standards to something quite bland and very un-downtown-like. Here's hoping we're wrong! Many of the cities in Europe that we most admire (Berlin, Barcelona, Paris and others) are made up of largely 6-story'ish buildings in their core, central areas. I am optimistic about the outcomes from this size of building.
It is sort of in the Warehouse District, so something that fits in with that would be nice.I'm not terribly disappointed by the shift to mid-rise per se, but I think everyone is bracing themselves for a potential downgrade in design standards to something quite bland and very un-downtown-like. Yes! Hopefully, it will be something with the vibes of Griffintown in Montreal—lots of brick with modern touches^Some red or other brick would be tasteful.
