Didn’t snap a pic, but lots of progress has been made. Believed the main building is topped off now. Makes a pretty sizeable impact on that corner visually.

Maybe, but it's pretty incentive to the gem south of it. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea, concept, replacement of a dead space, but it feels imposing.

I agree, it does feel more imposing than expected. Hopefully when the baricades and hoarding are gone it will feel a bit less so.

Oddly according the renderings on Page 1 of this thread show the building extending 2X as far to Whyte Ave than what is currently being constructed? Is it me? Or am I being obtuse? lol
Page 10 had updated plans. The space closest to Whyte was municipal reserve, which I think was removed, but is still park space with discretionary uses.
Wonder what happened to the residential project south of MKT.

Maybe I'm the odd one out with this opinion, but I kinda like the imposing presence this is giving thus far. Helps give off a "bit city" vibe which is perfectly fine in what is supposed to be one of our most dense areas of the city.

That’s what they pivoted to. It’s been well proven now that shipping containers are not actually that useful for construction. Was just a fad.
