I must admit some surprise that stucco/EFIS is still allowed. I don't recall; is the site owned by a merchant developer?

This block is really becoming a nucleus for development along Jasper. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple more tower proposals appear in the new few years on nearby lots.

Probably, but I would rather see a bit more further east on Jasper Ave. Many empty lots to chose from.

The reality is that central Edmonton needs to roughly double or triple in population to really have critical mass and be self-supporting.
