No right hand turn sign at this intersection that people constantly ignore. If you stop for it, you're more likely to get honked at by all the people that usually just ignore it.

Fun fact, If you ignore traffic control and drive on an active rail line your odds of getting hit by a train go way up.

The LRVs are massive and the whole right of way is full of traffic signals, it's not like it's easy to miss.

Hmmmm!! All four corners at 99 and 102 tarped up yesterday. What now?

Probably this extended frozen state things are in - testing occasionally, but not operating regularly has led to some people not paying as much attention as they should.

I think it's sad that ETS gets the blame when there are turn signals, signs not to turn at a red light and track warnings. Why not blame the city for jaywalkers who get hit too?
I saw they replaced the fixed no right turn on red signs with electronic no right turn signs at Gateway Blvd and Whyte Ave and it was pretty effective at stopping cars from turning right during the pedestrian crossing phase. Perhaps these need to go up all along LRT in addition to the double red light.

Only because their BRT Transitway was already nearly all grade-separated, so it was easy to just replace the bus lanes with LRT.
Very true indeed that much of it is converted BRT ROW. Still shows they had the foresight to grade separate that and continue with it.
