Mix of older and current photos I've taken through the years of various West End industrial buildings:

224 Wallace Ave - currently Ubisoft Toronto

A couple miscellaneous ones on Dupont, west of Dovercourt:

Also found an old photo from around 2011 of the former warehouse building along Lansdowne, south of the Foundry Lofts. It has now been demolished to make way for a new street, rowhouses, along with the southern tip to be part of future development:

I've always found the eastern dock structure of the Redpath Sugar Refinery to be interesting:

As someone who grew up in the West End, the sight of these industrial buildings always instill a feeling of home. Cheers!
I spent my early years in the east end around Greenwood and Gerrard. Went to Leslie Street School. As a fairly large family group, we'd often trek down to the waterfront past many interesting industrial buildings employing many people. My dad grew up in the west end , so I'm familiar with that area as well.

Apart from the Foundry Lofts building, here's a couple of the original buildings still maintained from the former General Electric operations at Lansdowne & Davenport:

Illustration of the entire complex in the past. These buildings would be found in the upper right section of the drawing, just right of the smokestack.

340-376 Dufferin Street, south of Queen West. Conversion of the former radiator factory on site towards office usage by Hullmark:

Really a waste to have demolished that building. It could have been another wonderful loft conversation like its doppelganger to the north to make an impressive set. What were they thinking?

If property restored that could have been another gem. Although on a neutral note, establishment of the street extension for Brandon Ave west of Lansdowne was an important development to open up circulation into the new Davenport Village community. Especially with even more density on the horizon as the remaining land just north of the railway will be developed in the future. If any silver lining, at least the new rowhouses along Lansdowne that replaced the warehouse are quite positive and display certain industrial influences.
