Calgary's cool Inglewood neighbourhood...often used by the nickname of Inglehood. A nickname that goes back from the days when it was a little more on the seedy side.

Once upon a time Inglewood was kind of a nasty place. I remember the days of the hookers and bikers, etc..

This kind of sums it up lol

There used to be a pretty heavy duty prostitution problem in Inglewood. It was around the National hotel iirc. I remember residents protesting the area and taking photos of Johns, stuff like that. A much different neighborhood now.

Not as of this past weekend.

Some more good news for Inglehood. This empty parcel at 9th ave and 13th street, is getting close to development. Stay tuned.
