I didn't get a chance to take a picture but I drove by yesterday and the shutters were up and NOW OPEN is plastered on the windows.

Yup, was there last weekend and it's awesome - much larger than the old location, quite a few groceries and their famous doughnuts of course! I also appreciate that they included a small cafe section with seating, which is lacking in Chinatown.

The easy approach is to give up on an area because it has problems. The better approach is to stay and try and improve it.
