From the Humber College garage roof yesterday:

The drone video was very good!

Work is well progressed East of Hwy 400 with concrete pours completed on a lot of the LRT ROW.

West of Hwy 400 is a different story. A vast majority of that section between 400 and Albion just seems like they've blocked off traffic with traffic cones and no work is happening. I'm guessing it's because they had blocked off the lanes to perform advanced work like moving utilities and stuff. Hoping that's the case and now they can start the LRT ROW work west of 400 as well.

Jeez - didn’t Steve Munro call them out on all the spelling errors on the last Ontario Line presentation? One would imagine that after that the media team would be a little more careful.

A certain number of spelling errors must be present, as a confirmation of authenticity. If they release a communication with no errors at all, the public will be worried that MX has been hacked and the document planted by ransom seekers.

Yup, the most recent shut down was Lakeview in Mississauga.

But before that was the Hearn right in the Portlands. Its still standing, but hasn't been in use for years, though the Nat. Gas powered Portlands Energy is right next to it.

In the USA, electric power companies (who also use coal) operated the electric streetcar companies. Until their anti-trust laws forced them to sell off the traction companies.
