I wish something better had been done with the heritage building, rather than putting a giant blank wall behind it - even though it seems like it will be a green wall.

Yeah, what is the story with the yellow building?

It was built in 1927 and had historic designation. The attached building which was demolished was built in 1923 but the historic designation had been removed.

How is that possible? That's too bad, it looked really nice with the other building next to it.

The owner objected. Miami is much more lax than Miami Beach when it comes to saving historic buildings.
