Proposals were taken for development of the old convention center on Broadway in downtown Nashville and rights to develop were awarded to Emery developers who have recruited Oliver McMillan to assist in building the mixed use block per City specifications. Gensler is the Architect.
Building heights on card below have been changed.
The latest proposal includes a 32 story office building (450'+/-) and a 30 story apartment (350+?).
Apartments.. Sorry for the poor image.
The National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) will be located in the development across from the Ryman Auditorium (the original home of the Grand Ole Opry and still considered the top auditorium type venue in America). And the Oliver McMillan firm, which has a strong reputation for developing very high end retail, will assist in bringing such retail to the development.
