Photos from my week long trip to New York City from last August, that I finally found time to upload and post. Majority are from Manhattan, with some Brooklyn content later on. Really regret not having my camera ready the entire time because there's some amazing buildings and night streetscapes from the East Village, and Soho that I wished I was able to capture. Also would have loved to spend more time exploring parts of Brooklyn and Queens but had to coordinate time shared with my other friends along on the trip. Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys these photos.

What areas would you recommend visiting in New York btw ? Not the typical tourist stuff of course ... using Toronto as example, referring to areas like Kensington / Dundas West / Bloor west / Queen W ....... off the beaten track to a tourist but popular with locals ?

Well anyways if you're still interested then some neat areas in NYC to check out are East Village, Lower East Side, Greenwich Village, & Meatpacking District in Manhattan. Brooklyn is full of interesting areas like Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, etc. and also Long Island City & Astoria Queens.

Nice pics. Some great architecture in there. I always thought Aritzia and CB2 were Canadian operations. Guess not.
