Argh! Getting... severe... NYC... urges...

The American International Building seen in the first pic (R side) is probably the most underappreciated skyscraper in NYC. It would be such an icon in any other city. Gorgeous building.

Darkstar: The reason I am only getting to reply to these threads now is due to the fact that the pix would not come up on the computers I usually use-I am on a library computer. Those Transit Museum shots are good-I remember when the museum opened back in 1976 and it still is a good place to visit. Because of some dedicated NYCT employees ALL the cars on display are operable and get used sometimes on historic runs and tours. LI MIKE
 
I believe that. Apparently the 3rd track is still "alive" in the museum so even though the museum isn't open as a revenue station anymore, vehicles can still be driven into the regular system from it.
