Can they impeach him before he's even sworn in?
Trump is just President-Elect, still just a citizen so they could charge or sue him but it would not stop the process as far as I know, however, this could influence the Electoral College. In December (I can't remember the day), they can change their votes and dump Trump, in this case it would be simple since Clinton won the popular vote. Irony huh, the Populist who glorified the virtues of the popular vote and denounced the Electoral College gets elected by the thing he calls anti-democratic process.

Another popular question of conflict of interest, as we have seen in the Fords, this is a good article:

Yes, I agree with you JWBF ... I was questioning that article.

I think it's the 19th that the electoral college votes. There is precedent for them to change the votes, but not in the numbers needed to change the results of this election.

Given that there are many, many legal proceedings pending against Trump, this is all going to be very interesting. Not to mention the whole assets thing. What a shit show.

I agree wholeheartedly. This is an interesting test, if there are so many petitions and charges we might just see history, it would bolster the thought that democracy actually exists in the U.S.

After the Fords in office I expect everything and nothing. :)

Plus this (because you can't teach loyalty). Those Trump kids (and Ivanka's husband Kushner) are going to be busy!

Well it's over, Fords' ado about nothings (yes, Ford history is akin to a Shakespeare work) the D'Nation and Flagg's follies are now trying to live through Trump and co-opt his rhetoric. Someone should tell them that Trump is seeking to find some middle ground on some issues, unlike the Fords despotic behaviour.

This comment made me smile, I love the use of key/trigger words:

"transperancy"...tee hee.

Hey! I got an idea what Trump can do. How about a ferris wheel and a monorail in the Mall? Why, the ferris wheel can be taller than the Washington Monument! Go YUGE or go home!

Maybe Trump can convert the White House into a casino. Outfit the Secret Service in gold bling? Carve his likeness on Mount Rushmore? Endless possibilities here...

Don't forget what happened to the last casino Trump was involved in and the bath it's investors took.
