These new Toronto subdivisions give me a new appreciation for the mid-century modern suburb I grew up in (Halifax). I suppose every city is building like this now though? Minuscule lots, hardly any landscaping, every house looks the same, no character? I understand the need for higher densities but can we please not get back to building places that look like Cabbagetown? People love neighbourhoods like that but today's zoning won't allow for it. This is something that needs fixing so we don't end up with more of the above.
