I wonder if anyone has any insight on the feasibility of sound proofing the inner window assembly of a new high rise Toronto condominium unit. I’m not looking to add any new sound barriers layers to the interior or exterior surface, but considering to have the interior framing removed, and the seals and materials inside reviewed and inspected for gaps, as well potentially filling any hollow spaces with additional material for added sound proofing.

See pic for examples of the hallow pieces (grey) that would be removed in order to do this inspection. I suspect that sound proofing material could be added to the inside of these hallow pieces for added said insulation.
