Well, they can start by building the second tower for this right away! The rental vacancy is low and with inflation still historically high, I don't think we're getting lower interest rates any time soon, so makes no sense to me why they're waiting.

This one is not backed by a mutli-billion dollar fund. It's not another Hat. This one received a CMHC loan from Trudeau's National Housing Strategy because financial institutions do not give out $80 million dollar mortgages to build rental towers. I've noticed developers appyling and receiving funds for additional phases. It's always been after the first phase is occupied. There's hope the second tower will be built in short order.
