Thunder Bay (really 2 distinct cities side by side)
Is a fine community outside of 2 very depressing 'downtowns' and a still fairly industrial port area, which makes for a less than 'pretty' waterfront, despite striking views.
They built a mall....'intercity' ? It really snuffed a lot of the downtown retail, one of the downtowns also had a mall in it, but when I went it was nearly 1/2 vacant.
There are definitely some great 'bones'
But I would argue that 'Lakehead' should have been built next to one of the downtowns, and they need to tear down that suburban mall and move the anchor retail back to the care area(s) as well in order to get things working as they should be.
Can't really knock an active working port, but they could still do a better job on the landscaping in the area.
