Looks great - the sculptural elements do have more presence than I thought they ultimately would. I can't quite figure out if I'm disappointed or not that the striation/texture in the sculptural panels (as rendered - or am I mistaken?) has not been realized.

Would it have killed them to make the spandrel and mullions black or white? Literally anything other than the same tone of grey would make this look so much better. It's just going to look busy with all the same shade of grey.

LOL. There is literally not one building in Toronto that looks even remotely like this. It is utterly unique so far, probably in a good way.
Are we being overrun by pewter buildings?

Toronto needs grey like humans need air. Developers aren't interested in doing something different here for the most part. Look at River City 3. Was supposed to have gold on it. Guess what? Gold got removed. Any semblance of color or something different tends to get muted or removed in this city.

For a moment I hoped you were being ironic. It's amusing how charges of 'sameness' usually target buildings that are bold, different, special. Whereas the repetitive, banal stuff is ignored escaping criticism for the most part.

It's early, but I'm thrilled so far with 1 Yorkville!
