Architect is universally liked, but the developer doesn't always get the best out of them...

Whoever it is I hope they do a good job. Unless you've seen the renders Projectie and think it's going to be a sh!+show.

IMO, the building should be restored to a pre-1983 form in any new development- it might ironically make retaining it easier, since it involves stripping off the ugly upper floors.

Agreed, although I would love to see some of that podium colour extended to the tower in some fashion.

I like the form and the podium a great deal......

much better than the previous rendition but i don't like how overbearing the addition is on the existing building (namely the 5 storey addition, then the 3 storey addition before the actual tower). Also the tower could really use some colour

The setbacks on the podium levels are nice. I hope this is adopted more widely.

That's one thick podium, can't wait to see it come up in the skyline
