It looks like it's been around forever thanks to the combination of old school red brick and light grey accents. It's architecturally unremarkable overall, but it works in its context. It's nice that the second and third floors line up with the Victorian building next to it on Yonge Street.
How they finish the window framing will be the clincher for me. But overall, this definitely looks like a positive addition. I quite like the way it bookends and completes the southern corner along Yonge of that block.
And yesterday. Still think it's rather pedestrian overall, but the materials are really quite nice. There's a kid's toy store moving into the Macpherson-fronting retail unit.
