I hadn't been paying much attention to this thread, having just give it a read through, I'm certainly supportive of intensification here, and the proposal is reasonably handsome.
Let me bring forward some context shots of the existing as we lack those.
This site is (currently), actually 8 and 10 Hyde Park Crescent, rather than 2 Post Road.
The current Post Road frontage:
Current Bayview frontage:

Upon full review, I do take an issue w/the proposed landscape plan and the way the development addresses pedestrians (or does not)
Currently there is no sidewalk on the cul de sac; this plan does not provide for one either. Granted, in isolation, its pretty useless, but the plan should be for the City to install sidewalk on at least one side, back out to Post Road, and this development should pay for the section abutting its property.
Additionally, the proposal provides for only a very basic 2.1M wide sidewalk with no landscaped buffer between the sidewalk and the road on both the Bayview and the Post Road frontages.
I could perhaps see my way to letting that slide on Post Road, though I don't see why we should have to; but on the Bayview frontage that will make for fairly unpleasant walking conditions. The sidewalk should shift into the proposed private property landscaping, and a tree-lined boulevard should be added between the sidewalk and the curb on Bayview.
