Are you saying it's going to continue accelerating so by this time next year we'll have the next supertall?!

As that would like requiring a new planning application (pretty sure Committee of Adjustment would not happen for that}.............probably not.............LOL

I'd venture to say that might also involve some serious foundation reinforcement..................though, man, that dig did take awhile......

Yeah, the quality of cladding here is certainly off to a good start. TAS continuing to maintain consistent design initiatives, which bodes well for most of their active portfolio of projects that are still in the planning stages.

The location actually isn't that bad. Defina Pizza is right beside it along with a good coffee place. Also Piri Piri and Boo Radley's across the street. Dupont also picks up with more interesting stuff west of Symington.

Also lots of cool things in the plaza behind Piri Piri -- a yoga studio, some galleries, my bouldering gym (hopefully all still there post-covid).

Dupont has so much potential to be a vibrant main street west of here. It has revitalized somewhat in the past 10 years, but the north side is still rather dead.

Yeah, that stretch of Dupont has gradually improved in the past decade or so. Part of it is being a spillover from the main Junction district. But it also helps having some good bones in terms of built form for supporting a retail scene. Also some steady renewal in the residential side streets with some newer and younger populations moving in.

I think Dupont will further emerge long-term once the new developments around Symington and the couple just past the West Toronto Railpath are completed. Also once the pandemic subsides and work at office resumes, hopefully more tenants can be attracted to the storage/warehouse building where Freshbooks is located on the western most end of Dupont before the Railpath.
