At least have electric charging stations incorporated in the basements of condos. To charge cars, bikes etc when needed.
This is indeed becoming more and more of a requirement through the TGS (Toronto Green Standard) requirements for new developments.

UT article with a summary on this project:

I notice that this is a 200+ unit building with 21 parking spaces and over 200 bicycle spaces. Is this a first since the parking requirement was reduced?

Also, IMO, the folks in the Heinzman building should be very happy with this proposal. First, the gas station is gone. Second, the people with units on the lower floors always knew that there was the possibility of some building on this site while the folks on the higher floors can breath a sigh of relief while the inclined planes will benefit all. Third , the building is pretty attractive and fits nicely with their access to Keele.

This will be a fun site to photograph as the development progresses, since there are so many angles available, with a road, path, or alley on all four sides of the site.

Core hopes to receive approvals and start construction in Q3 2023 on a building of approximately 150,000 square feet that would house approximately 270 units at 403 Keele St. A target completion date of late 2025 has been set.

Extremely weird resubmission on this one. It's now a pseudo rooming house. Almost entirely studios and 4 bedrooms...which they'll position to investor landlords as bedrooms with a shared kitchen. How much do we want to bet there won't be any 'No short term rental' rules here?

Utter trash.

Shame on Core!

We don't need buildings full of prison cells for people to live in; we need housing!
